Gems are the wonders of nature available in various colors representing the quality of the nine planets that influence our earth and living things, especially human beings. The sages who lived even before Christ have clearly stated the color of the planets and their radiance etc without any gadgets by sheer clairvoyance. Incidentally, gems have similar radiance attributed to a particular planet. For example, Saturn was represented by blue sapphire, Jupiter by yellow sapphire, Mars by red coral etc.
